UPDATE 6/23:

Yesterday I spent the afternoon on 4th and Towne with Occupy Skid Row, Occupy The Hood, Occupy Los Angeles, and LACAN. We sat and held space so OSR could stay where they have been since Novemeber 30th. Many of the other residents of the block were frightened off, and we hope they come back. Ocupiers have joined up and begun to assist OSR with numbers, you are welcome to come hang out during the day, and help hold space, and get in touch with the community. You are also welcome to come set up your tent every night from 9PM to 6AM at 4th and Towne and Join them.

Occupy Skid Row could always use the support of the community, whether it be just to come and sit a spell and share stories, and experiences, or to come to stay for a few nights, or even just the support of dropping off a few much needed items, such as water, socks, clothing, Sunblock, hygene supplies, ect.

TAll this week is going to be extremely hot, so if you can, please bring bottled water to our peeps out there, as they have very little access to resources in the area after dark, and in general there aren't many around. The missions are not open to the public, so I guess only privatised "unhoused" get help from the poverty pimps. If you can go out an lend your support at any time please do!

UPDATE 6/22:

We need every body, hand, and camera available at 3rd and towne by 2PM! After the cleaning of 4th and Towne, LAPD is telling Occupy Skid Row they cannot go back. We are not standing for this police intimidation! Last night they snatched 4 people over CHALK at the CCA encampment. Chalking is LEGAL. LAPD are terrorists. Do not stand for this, copy this message share it, and get your asses out there to help our people!

This Friday, Occupy Skid Row at 4th and Towne streets in Los Angeles needs your assistance! They need help starting at 6 am to move their belongings down the street, or out of the way of the county workers who will be doing cleaning.

Los Angeles County has decided to go in and clean the streets themselves, as the Central City East Association, which takes money from local businesses, as well as banks, and large corperations, has failed to do what they are paid by the "Business Improvement District" to do. They have plenty of resources to harass, assault and steal from the residents of skid row, yet cannot keep they streets clean as they claim to do. In fact many of the residents of skid row actually keep their areas much cleaner then most people would ever imagine, or that the main stream media, the City of Los Angeles would leave you to believe. In fact they are responsible for the sanitary conditions they complain about because there are virtually no facilities on skid row or anywhere for the homeless to use. The one bathroom that has been installed in the area is often locked by 7pm.

So this friday, our occupiers, and their neighbors may need a hand. If you have a truck available it would be great, as their stuff may need to be off the street for a few hours. Also they will need assistance in moving their stuff back. If anyone would like to bring food, or supplies, please do, and bring your cameras, as we never know what those CCEA Thugs the red shirts may try to pull.

4th and Towne Streets 6AM on. Please help!
