Description:
Solidarité dans les rues!
Over 250,000+ have, for over 115 days, defied Anti-Protest Law in Quebec!
We stand in Solidarity with the Students of Quebec and in Solidarity with the Revolutions around the world!
CASSEROLES!
From 8pm on in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles, empty pots and pans will clash, ringing the blatant injustice that echos throughout all of our societies. The march will begin in Pershing Square, take a scenic tour around City Hall, and then roam where the thundering echos take us.
For those who cannot make it to downtown, grab a pot and pan, raise your instruments out into the world @ 8pm, and let everyone know there is a world in crisis, and we all stand in Solidarity to expose the injustice brought upon our brothers and sisters around the world.
Our culture is changing. Our ideals are evolving. Let those who stand for the growth of our collective society stand proudly together in the face of oppressive forces. We are the change we seek in this world. Brothers and Sisters, we are called upon once more! Unite!
"Order derived through submission and maintained by terror is not much of a safe guaranty; yet that is the only "order" that governments have ever maintained. True social harmony grows naturally out of solidarity of interests." - Emma Goldman

BACKGROUND:
“In the spirit of the red square, different cities across Canada are having Casseroles nights in Canada to #Maplespread the growing movement in support of Quebec's striking students; to demand accessible education for all (and not just the 1 per cent); and show disapproval for Charest's Law 78 which restricts Canadian's civil liberties.”
