Diesel Truck and Three other Vehicles involved in Long Beach Crash, Injuries Reported

Long Beach, California(December 14, 2016) – According to a police report,  injuries were reportedly sustained following a four-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Long Beach.

The multi-vehicle collision took place at about 4:08 p.m. at the intersection of 210 Freeway and Pacific Coast Highway.

Reportedly, the accident was blocking the number 3 and 4 lanes of the highway.

Due to the impact of the crash, a car hood popped, and airbags were deployed in one vehicle described as a green Toyota van.

Long Beach firefighters responded to the scene along with paramedics and closed the number 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway, as the medics attended to those injured in the incident.

Tow trucks were also called to the scene to help remove the vehicles from blocking the roadway.

An investigation into the crash is underway to determine the cause and liability.
