East Lancaster Boulevard School Bus and Car Accident Critically Injures one, Leaves 8 students With Minor Injuries

Lancaster, California (February 7, 2017) – Twelve people, among them 8 students, were  injured Tuesday morning following a school bus crash in Lancaster, according to CHP officials.

The accident occurred approximately 7:16 this morning between a school bus and a Cadillac.

According to the report, the school bus was enroute to Eastside High School, Antelope Valley Union High School District at the time of the crash.

Reportedly, the bus was heading eastbound on East Lancaster Boulevard when it collided with the Cadillac at the intersection.

Upon the impact, the bus spun out of control, overturned and the crashed into a utility pole.

The bus driver, eight students, and two advisors who were on the bus sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac was also taken to the hospital in critical condition following the crash.


The police are investigating the incident to determine the cause and liability.
