One Killed in Los Angeles Auto Versus Pedestrian Crash on Highway 60 near Rosemead

Los Angeles, California (January 28, 2017) – One person is dead following an early Saturday morning auto versus pedestrian crash in East Los Angeles, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The fatal accident occurred at about 3:15 a.m. this morning on westbound Highway 60, just east of Rosemead Boulevard.

According to the report, a pedestrian was running across the westbound lanes of the highway when a big rig struck them.  

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and found the not moving just west of Santa Anita.


No further information regarding the crash was provided. The deadly incident is under investigation by the police.
