Pedestrian Struck By Sedan After Two Vehicles Collide on 5 Freeway Near Indiana Street In Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California (January 10, 20116) – A man was injured early Tuesday morning after he was struck by a sedan after he got out of his vehicle, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident took place at about 2:55 a.m. this morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Indiana Street.  The incident started when a gray sedan collided with a black van. Reportedly, a man got out of one of the two vehicles and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle was described as a black sedan.

Paramedics responded to the scene to attend to the pedestrian.

Two vehicles were reportedly blocking the second and third lanes.

Tow trucks were requested to the street to help remove the vehicles from blocking the road.


The incident remains under investigation.
