Two Injured in Los Angeles Single-Vehicle DUI Crash

LOS ANGELES, California (February 6, 2017)- Two people were apparently injured in the neighborhood of Jefferson Park following a suspected DUI crash on Monday according to local news source.

The accident which involved one vehicle happened at 12:35 a.m. on West 36th Street.

According to the article, Los Angeles Fire Department detailed that a black Camaro was heading northbound on West 36th Street when it crashed into a light pole and a tree. The impact of the crash sheared both the pole and the tree.

The officials from the fire department confirmed that the two victims were attended to by medical personnel at the scene. However, their identities and their health status have not yet been established as at now.

The police found beer cans on the roadway after being thrown from the vehicle. The police believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
