More Info ARTISTS' MARCH TO OCCUPY LA!
Save the Date: Monday, November 14, 2011
Assemble at 5 PM at California Plaza in downtown LA, then march to City Hall. Please bring flashlights and/candles. We will be marching on the sidewalk unless the police feel our numbers warrant a lane closure.
Join members of the arts community as we march to Occupy LA for a performance-rally on the steps of City Hall. Artists, administrators, arts students and educators and supporters from all disciplines are welcome. You are encouraged to wear costumes, bring musical instruments, carry banners and signs and generally make your voices heard!
Performers include Luis J. Rodriguez (Always Running), Ruben Guevara, anA Saldana, avantRadio, Ellen Geer & Melora Marshall, Allan B.Mancia, Jason Luckett, Jewell Jae Jeffers, Ivan Robles and more.

Meaning, What is it calling for? More arts funding, retaining art teaching jobs in public schools, etc...
