Sorry not onboard with this

Sorry not onboard with this and I doubt many of the 99% are. It's just not quite the world we live in yet. I love America. I love our government. I just want it fixed, not abolished completely.

I don't want it abolished at

I don't want it abolished at all, either. I want it fixed by replacing the current politicians with new ones who listen to the 99% of America.

We already have a government with laws run by people voted into office by you and I, not money, nepotism, cronyism or any other bad -ism.

What I mean is, these Occupy movements are working. You don't have to want to abolish the government to be involved.

The Founding Fathers of America new what they were doing, aside from the really bad racist laws. The government can have a massive revolution if everyone votes. Seriously. They planned it that way.

You can never abolish the government because we are the government.

So please, have faith and stay involved. Stick around and tell the anarchists why you love our government.

Right now the bad guys are winning because they trick the American people into not voting, every election cycle. That's it, period, end of story. The rest is propaganda.

People are waking up and voting. We've already won, short of them dropping hellfire missiles from Apache helicopters on us...and at that point there's probably no such thing as voting, so we may as well hang out with the anarchists.

Neither of us want that, so stick around and get people involved politically so we don't have to end up with anarchy.

Fixed by replacing current politicians with new ones ...Dreamer

I want it fixed by replacing the current politicians with new ones who listen to the 99% of America.

Yup, & I want Santa to bring me a pony.

The definition of Stupidity is doing the same thing over & over & over again expecting different results.

It's not changing the politicians that will make a difference. It's changing the way a politician views us, as soft ignorant lazy gullible & very forgiving. As an individual, Americans on the average are relatively smart. But collectively we are just plain stupid, which is constantly exploited. We fix our perception, we fix our problem, that is until we become complacent again.

It is possible to be honest

It is possible to be honest without being inconsiderate. In fact, one might argue that is a much better approach, particularly when you are having a polemic discussion.

What are you suggesting? Just

What are you suggesting? Just a change in the electoral system of voting for president or the entire elimination of Representatives & Senators? I'm not disagreeing with you because I'm not sure what you are suggesting. Are you a proponent for anarchy & the complete elimination of government?

n8tiveSon, I think our method

n8tiveSon, I think our method of voting needs an overhaul but I too would be hesitant to vote via the internet. I realize there is likely some fraud & rigging that goes on with the current system, but internet voting would only make it easier for people to falsify outcomes. I personally don't understand why when voting for President, direct democracy is NOT used. If anyone can enlighten me as to why that wouldn't be better, I'd appreciate it. For all other Federal issues, of course our elected representatives are better making those decisions than the average person. I love to follow politics but there is no way I have the time to become knowledgeable on the ins & outs of EVERY issue that's voted upon on the Federal level.

I have lost faith in presidential elections. I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. I would like to think that those whom we vote into congress would speak on behalf of the people that elected them, but they all seem to be too busy raising money for their re-election campaigns. I have no doubt that our Government intentionally has it set up that way so they can continue robbing us blind without the interference of our representatives.

Our presidents no longer represent the people, they represent the corporatocracies that funded their presidency. If we don't get money out of politics, nothing will change. The constitution has been twisted and sometimes outright violated to facilitate their takeover of our government. I think the first step is to get our "representatives" to finally start working for and speaking on behalf of the people.

CFR

CFR stands for the "Council on Foreign Relations"

Yeah, I know about the CFR. We all know how corrupt our government has become...that's why the Occupy movement exists.

By the way, I was agreeing with you on the electoral college thingie. I don't get it either.

We'd have better luck...

Getting supermajorities in Congress that work for 99% interests instead of hiring themselves out to the 1%.  If plutocracy has an iron grip on Congress, the best President in history couldn't do that much for us.
