audiotruther : just wanted you to know that we had a lovely time, and that your $$ went so far! We got bowls, cups, silverware, had ham, turkey, stuffing, and cookies, and additionally had  lovely vegan food from vegis donated from the farmer's market cooked by a lovely local caterer and we had food donated by people from the potluck!

We were able to send a HUGE bag of chicken/pies/vegan food/drinks on to Occupy Long Beach, we were able to make turkey salad from the leftovers and give out food fo Occupiers singing occupy carols and homeless in Pershing Square two days in a row, as well as feeding the GA the night of the 26th! So thank you, for making we who WANTED to give a great weekend by donating our time able to! And thank you, for those of us who didn't have homes,  families, or food on the holidays-- several of us in those positions were able to help those in worse need have a great one, and really, it was INCREDIBLY appreciated at the GA as well!     ~The food crew
