Occupy Rush Limbaugh!   For too many years the most destructive voice on radio has been Rush Limbaugh. He has brainwashed millions of Americans into acting against their own interests. Over the next 4 years he will be paid over $400 million dollars to spew his evil words. He will make even more money from books and speaking tours. Who does he speak for? (The Koch brothers and the 1%) Not me. I believe a national campaign to highlight this fact will go a long way to wake up Americans and his listeners. Free the victims of the Limbaughian Cult! Rush Limbaugh is being paid over $400 million Dollars! Who does he speak for?  A call in campaign to his radio show would work. If a small percentage of OWS would do this on a rotating basis it could have far reaching effects. If a national media campaign were created to highlight the fact that he is being paid more than $400 million Dollars it should get his listeners to wake up. For very little relative effort this could have a huge impact. If there is public space near where he broadcasts from, an occupy camp would draw much attention. I think he broadcasts from W. Palm Beach, Florida. At least it's warm there this time of year.    This huge disparity of unequal incomes must end. We will all become healthier and happier when it does end. Even Rush Limbaugh will be better off!   Most of us have instinctively felt this disparity of unequal incomes is harmful to our nation as a whole and to every other nation that allows such disparity. Now there is book, 'The Spirit Level' by Richard Wilkinson and Kate Picket, published in 2009, that scientifically documents that our instincts about this disparity is exactly right on the money.(pun intended) This book also clearly shows the great social benefits and health and happiness benefits that exist among nations that do have small differences between what the wealthiest are paid and the poorest are paid. There is a way out of this mess and we are finding it. We have to! Our biological instincts for self preservation tell us this. The question is will we make the changes in time to avert destroying ourselves and a huge part of life on our planet earth? That is, will we destroy more than we already have? I don't know the answer to that, no one does.But, thanks to OWS I am more optimistic about our Nation and our planet than I have been in many years.
