While I was running around town today getting supplies I would ask every small business I went into if they have heard about OccupyLA and what we're doing.  Out of ten businesses, three had an general idea of what we were doing and were nice enough to donate the things we needed or offer them to me for fifty percent off.  I took a little time to inform the other seven business owners that what we are doing directly effects both their commercial interests and their families.  Three out of ten at this stage of the game isn't bad!  Day 5!  You can feel something is changing.  You can feel that the small businesses owners and the people they employ are genuinely interested and respect our nationwide occupation.
