It may be no strange coincidence that just as the Occupy movement is consolidating around the principle of non-violence--something we women are naturally good at--International Women's Day has arrived. LET'S SHOW SOME SOLIDARITY AND ATTEND THESE ACTIONS EN MASSE (Some of them overlap on March 8th, so try to attend some of both!):

Join Women Occupy, a national women-led community of the 99% initiated by CODEPINK, for a national day of action on International Women’s Day to break up big banks. Think SuperShero (or hero) costumes, Sheroics, and a REALLY REALLY Free Market. Have a B of A account– Why not shut it down and move your money to a local bank or credit union as part of the day’s action?

SATURDAY, MARCH 10th Women’s Circle at Occupy LA and others host rally 11am LA City Hall. We will circle City Hall with fabric and fabulous women, and their children and friends.
