OCCUPY SHADOW MEDIA MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT

Shadow Media is the eyes and ears of the people's struggle.

We are the Shadow Media Council. We have come together as a direct response to the mis-messaging, lack of coverage, and outright lies perpetrated by the corporate media machine. 

Our mission is to protect the people by using video, print, and social media to accurately document the people's struggle , and their resistance to oppression.

We hope, by doing this, to better educate the people as to both their civil and human rights, and how to safely defend them.

We are here to give a face to the faceless, a name to the nameless, and a voice to the voiceless. By doing so, we will not only protect, but mobilize those our current system would prefer to leave behind.

We are Shadow Media, we are you.
