    One Hospitalized after Multi-Car Collision on 605 Freeway near Slauson Avenue

    Whittier, California (August 22, 2017) – At least one person was injured in a three-vehicle accident on Friday, August 18, on the Interstate 605 Freeway near Slauson Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

    As per the report, an early call to the officials stated that a bus and four vehicles were involved in the accident. The CHP conducted an initial investigation and said that only three cars were involved.

    Medical Personnel rushed to the scene for a rescue operation a while after 8:20 a.m. They found one person injured and took the patient to a local hospital for the treatment of unknown injuries.

    The identity and the current condition of the victim remained unknown.

    A SigAlert was issued at 8:34 a.m. blocking the three lanes on the northbound Freeway and the carpool roads.

    Meanwhile, officials are investigating this incident to determine the factors that would have led to the collision.
